Description: Борщевик Сосновского — одно из самых опасных и проблемных инвазивных растений в России. Инвазивными называют виды, распространение которых угрожает биологическому разнообразию. В случае с борщевиком это видно невооружённым взглядом: он стремительно захватывает всё новые и новые территории как в отдалённых районах страны, так и в городах-миллионниках. Неслучайно это растение часто сравнивают с хищными триффидами из фантастической антиутопиии Джона Уиндема. Примерно в середине 2010-х отдельные экологические активисты, озабоченные этой проблемой, стали объединяться в сообщества и выдумывать всё новые и новые методы противостояния борщевику, часто совершенно нетривиальные. Несмотря на скептицизм СМИ, за прошедшие годы активисты добились успеха — правда, не столько в борьбе с борщевиком, сколько в её популяризации. Сейчас идеи «борщеборцев» и транслируемые ими образы проникли во все сферы массовой культуры — от музыки до компьютерных игр.
