Description: Криптопати это общемировое движение для обеспечения возможности знакомства людей с основами практической криптографии и анонимизации. Это продолжение движения шифропанков (особо активного в 90-е годы). Движение представляет самоорганизующиеся инициативы по сбору людей, рассказа и обучения работы с программным обеспечением уважающим приватность и безопасность. В самом простом случае это собрание небольшой группы людей, договорившейся о встрече через специализированные списки рассылки, социальные сети или любым другим удобным и доступным способом. И в этой группе людей происходит обмен опытом использования сервисов или программного обеспечения. Одни помогают другим с установкой, настройкой и использованием PGP другие с использованием OTR, Tor или I2P. В рамках криптопати возможны познавательные лекции, рассказы про основы криптографии, про технологии. Но в первую очередь это собрание людей с заранее подготовленными принесёнными компьютерами.
