Description: Жители Киселевска, "угольного" города в Кузбассе, записали и выложили в интернет обращение к премьер-министру Канады Джастину Трюдо и генсеку ООН Антонио Гутерришу с просьбой предоставить им убежище. На этот жест отчаяния их толкнула тяжелейшая экологическая ситуация в городе: люди буквально задыхаются из-за работы угольных разрезов, окруживших со всех сторон Киселевск. А после того как начался подземный пожар на одной из старых шахт, жизнь в городке и вовсе стала невыносимой. Обращение получило большой резонанс. Откликнулись на него и в посольстве Канады – там заявили, что готовы рассмотреть возможность предоставления жителям Киселевска убежища, если заявители станут беженцами, то есть покинут страну. А губернатор Кузбасса Сергей Цивилев откровенно сообщил, что быстро решить экологические проблемы Кисилевска не получится.
