Накануне гибели Славиной у нее и шести других политических активистов прошли обыски, больше похожие на театрально разыгранный захват «преступной группировки». Сами активисты назвали их «полными эпатажа»: силовики в балаклавах, с оружием в руках пилили двери бензорезами, некоторых людей опрокидывали лицом в пол, некоторых — в том числе Славину — категорично заставляли переодеваться только при сотрудниках полиции.
